I have arrived at the stages where I fret, fret a little and then fret a bit more....I worry if people will ride, if people will donate (again!) what more can I do, what can I do better etc etc... Very tiring, especially considering I already have a full time job as an assistant manager in Hospitality.... and then a few REALLY good things happen that make me fall in my seat with a happy smile and a vino, I let go of a contented deep sigh and I fret no more - for a bit at least.

In short succession; my bombardments of emails and videos to magazines and TV programs resulted in Horse and Hound writing an article about OHFH on their website. A very nice article which hopefully will result in more interested riders and/or donations. In it a spokesperson for World Horse Welfare also had a nice word to say and expressed their  'deepest thanks to everyone taking part.”

One person read this article and reported to the Facebook group and she is hoping to ride in September. It is nice to have a bit of physical evidence that the word is getting out there...  like I can I see that the visits to my website have shot up a bit this week and there are more riders confirmed in my Facebook event too..

And the cherry on this weeks cake is that today I received an email via the website that a large Equestrian Megastore is interested in organising something, like a horsey carbooty kind of thing -  to help raise money. I have bought 85% of everything horsey I own via their online site and I am very very please with that. I won't say who what where yet until I know but.....  the bottle of vino is being opened, the shoes are off and ahhhhhh this is goooooooood....
